Gore-tex is one of the most popular waterproof fabrics around and can form a great water-resistant barrier for your face mask.
It’s also possible to use DWR waterproof sprays on your face masks to make them more water resitance. However, take great care to ensure that such sprays are only applied to the exterior of a mask and that they are left to dry for at least 24 hours before putting them on your face (so that you’re not breathing in anything toxic).
